Cold Ash Brass is based in the town of Thatcham, east of Newbury and south of our original home, Cold Ash. We're just a few miles from Junction 13 of the M4.

We are a friendly brass band, playing in the 3rd section of the London and Southern Counties region of the National Championships, with a focus on our varied and exciting concert schedule.

We rehearse every week on Thursdays at 7:30-9:30pm at the Catholic Hall in Thatcham.

Our Musical Director, Jemma Johnstone, joined us in 2012. Under her leadership we won our first contest in 2014 at SCABA Autumn Contest. Our next venture saw us placing second at the L&SC regional contest meaning another place in the national final.
