How and when did you start playing?
Aged about 8 at Burghclere Primary School.

 

How many bands have you played with?
Three - Burghclere Primary School band, East Woodhay Silver Band (where I met my wife), and Cold Ash Brass.

What is your favourite piece for brass band?
Resurgam (I love that Euphonium bit, the geeks will know what I mean). Also The Floral Dance which I never get fed up with (sadly)

What would your autobiography be called?
Life before = Lockdown

What superpower would you like to have and why?
Triple- tonguing (is that a superpower?)

If you won a million pounds on the lottery what would your very first thought be?
Holiday !

If you could be any animal, what would you be?
A cat (the most stressful decision you ever make is where to sleep all day)

Where in the world would you still like to visit?
Vietnam and Cambodia, the Grand Canyon.

What is your favourite film or TV series?
Die Hard of course (and yes it is a Christmas film)

What are your favourite things to do/hobbies?
Brass Banding (naturally), Pub Quiz, watching sport (especially rugby and cricket),
Holidays (remember when we used to be able to fly to places?)
